Position Overview: The HR Coordinator will aid in the administration and support of HR processes, procedures, and systems.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Facilitate new hire orientations.
  • Perform data entry into HRIS for all new hires, changes, LOA’s and terminations.
  • Maintain HRIS accuracy for all employee records.
  • Review timecards, ensure accurate timekeeping prior to payroll being processed.
  • Process payroll for all temporary associates.
  • Answer payroll and benefit related questions.
  • Assist with leave management (FMLA, STD) and ADA requests
  • Assist in onboarding employees and manage onboarding in HRIS.
  • Recruit for plant employees, work with temporary agencies and manage agency relationships.
  • Lead sewing operator recruiting for the site.
  • Facilitate the internal job promotion and interview process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate a variety of employee meetings and engagement events.
  • Proper record keeping and employee file maintenance.
  • Create postings and fliers to advertise surveys, events, etc.  Maintain birthday and anniversary postings on TV monitors, as well as current happenings.
  • Track, monitor and coach employees and supervisors on weekly attendance.
  • Assist EHS Coordinator to ensure compliance with annual Safety and Health compliance training.
  • Assist with service awards, creating new hire packets and sewing folders, audits, etc.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
  • Other duties as assigned.
Training: Provided on the job and supplemented with external seminars/classes.

Qualifications:
      Education & Certifications: High School Diploma Or GED required.
      Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior HR experience required.  Manufacturing experience highly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
