Position Overview: Operate semi-automated material cutting andor spreading equipment. Process all spreads though the cutting machine and offload all cut parts in a timely manner. Measure and cut fabric at a sufficient pace to keep the cutter working continuously. Lay fabrics according to the marker info and established spreading guidelines.

Essential Job Functions:

Operate semi-automated material cutting and spreading equipment
Input production data into computer
Input material data into computer
Offload cut parts from conveyor
Process markers following priorities set on your inbox
Gathering material from inventory location or from material handler
Measuring material and preparing table for cutting
Operate lift to load rolls of material into equipment
Follow all guidelines for equipment preventative maintenance
Follow all safety guidelines
Properly identify face vs. back of material, material flaws or defects and shading differences
Work closely with other team members to ensure output goals are met

Non-Essential Job Functions:

Other duties as assigned

Training: Necessary training will be provided on the job.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience: 1 year in a manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for duration of day, walk frequently, and turn as needed

Working Conditions: Plant environment with constant background noise
