Procurement Specialist
Reports To: Director of Inventory Management

Pay: $65,000-$75,000/ Annual
You will partner closely with Inventory Planning, Operations, and suppliers to drive timely purchasing decisions, maintain accurate data, and minimize supply disruptions. Success in this role requires strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and a customer-first mindset when working with both internal teams and external partners.
Essential Job Functions:- Issue purchase orders and intercompany orders based on requirements from Inventory Planning
- Track and maintain order data, including due dates, receipts, pricing, and status updates
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively expedite critical orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate delays, risks, or supply issues to stakeholders and recommend solutions
- Prepare and share regular reports on purchase order status, material availability, and supplier performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Request and evaluate supplier quotes for cost, quality, and availability
- Support negotiation of pricing, delivery terms, and service expectations
- Maintain accurate procurement data within ERP/MRP systems
- Coordinate logistics and movement of materials between suppliers and facilities
- Other duties and projects as assigned relating to Supply Chain and operation
Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management
- Experience in manufacturing, apparel, or textiles is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a sense of ownership
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Analytical thinking with the ability to identify trends and resolve issues quickly
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (or willingness to learn quickly)
