Internship Description:
As an IT Support Intern at National Safety Apparel, Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our employees and maintaining the IT infrastructure and technological systems at our Cleveland facilities. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network setup and maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to evolving IT needs.

Responsibilities:

Utilizing our ticketing system, perform tier 1 IT helpdesk tasks and escalate when necessary.
Provide technical support to end users, both remotely and in person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring adherence to security policies and procedures.
Provide computer training to employees as needed.
Assist the Systems Administrator with continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience/Qualifications:

Seeking a degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or other relevant course of study.
General interest and savviness in technology

Communicating at the level and understanding of the audience
