Inventory Analyst
As an Inventory Analyst you are responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, and ensuring efficient operations.  This position works collaboratively with multiple business functions.  

This is a full time exempt position reporting to the VP/President at NSA's Paulson facility in Temecula, California

In this position, you will:
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies that maximize efficiency and minimize costs across the supply chain
  • Analyze inventory levels and trends, utilizing data analytics to forecast demand and adjust stock levels accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting
  • Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and process improvements
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with inventory discrepancies and supply chain disruptions
  • Provide training and mentorship to inventory team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor, on a daily basis, the inventory and codes of all products in the warehouse to ensure proper rotation and traceability of all items, utilizing first in first out (FIFO) updating all information using the alliance software.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded timely and accurately, to reflect a correct inventory position at any time.   
  • Contain and/or reduce costs and drive productivity within the department.
  • Cooperate in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company.
  • Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and delegating
  • Produce reporting & analytics associated with effectively managing all Inventory Management functions.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience: 3-5 years previous work experience; prior manufacturing / inventory/costing experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Inventory Management activities, including inventory movement & valuation and inventory planning & optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the company.
  • Initiative and ability to deliver reporting & analytics needs in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated success working with and through cross-functional teams
Travel: approximately 0-5%

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000
